1045 FIRST AVENUE

KING OF PRUSSIA, PA

Following the purchase of this distressed 1970’s warehouse, the new owner, JM & Company, commissioned Wulff Architects, Inc. to completely transform the exterior and interior to look like a historic 1920 classical “gem”. The aesthetic closely paralleled that of Philadelphia Architect Horace Trumbauer with Italian flourishes and two exquisite exterior fountains. The octagonal entrance rotunda gives visitors a lavish sense of arrival due to its intricate marble flooring, Ionic columns and 8’-0” tall cherry doors. Many of the decorative elements on the façade were shipped from China, and augment the ornate, yet economical, EIFS exterior material. This outstanding project has been recognized regionally and published in several periodicals.
